Last week I fancied a little sewing project so off I poped upstairs to raid my fabric stash, fired up the sewing machine and rustled up a cute little cushion. I'm obsessed with cushions, my bed is full of them, the sofas are full of them and quite frankly I love making them!
I decided on a small floral print front and contrasting spots for the back, I love the combination of colours!
I then jazzed it up a bit with a freestyle applique rose design using the spot fabrics from the back.
I even finally taught myself how to use the button hole stitch on my machine YAY! and added two bright green buttons to the back which actually make it look double sided.

The buttons fit perfect! |
I have a 'thing' that when I sit down on the sofa I have to have a cushion to cuddle for comfort and this is the perfect size to cuddle, rest my crochet on and also look pretty on a small wooden chair!
This weekend brings fabric shopping, my sister's dance show and hopefully sunshine!
Have a lovely weekend!

Love it. That freestyling is amazing. Whats even better about this cushion is you could have it facing either way, it's like two for the price of one :) x x x x
